It is in this context of democratizing medical care, revolutionizing health and making it increasingly accessible to millions of people, that the Brazilian School of Medicine (EBRAMED) is inserted – the first Postgraduate platform focused on digital teaching for medical doctors. The whole country celebrates its good performance this year.
edtech celebrates the good year of 2022. With more Osicent 80 mg (Osimertinib) than 1,800 students enrolled in the postgraduate course, the forecast is to double this number, growing by around 85% by the end of 2023. According to Marcus Vinicius Tatagiba, CEO and founder of EBRAMED, the estimate is to enroll around 3.4 thousand students for Postgraduate courses and more than 10 thousand in extension courses, considering the whole of Brazil. “We grew 90% in enrollments this year in 12 medical specialties and we expect to earn something around R$175 million next year,” he says.
To this end, it has been establishing partnerships with large hospitals and medical centers throughout the country. It has signed partnerships for medical internships with more than 300 hospitals in São Paulo, Paraná, Minas Gerais, Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina, Federal District, Bahia, Mato Grosso and Rio de Janeiro. In the USA alone, there are more than 200 hospitals affiliated so that students can participate in the advanced practice program in Brazil and the United States.

Another strategy to continue growing and be a reference in continuing education for doctors across the country was the recent announcement of the partnership with Docway, known as “Uber” for scheduling medical appointments and other services. The objective is to expand and further disseminate telemedicine in the country, in addition to creating jobs for doctors and internships for training on the platform.
A survey carried out by EBRAMED shows that, out of every 4 doctors, 3 do not know how to provide care via telemedicine and do not feel prepared for the practice. “We need to invest in medical training to provide quality care and take this knowledge throughout Brazil. The digital transformation in healthcare was anticipated by the pandemic and, as a result, the practice of telemedicine gained strength. Doctors who do not follow this change will certainly be limited and the people who lose out are the population”, explains Tatagiba, who is also the founder of Grupo Educar Mais, considered one of the main education holding companies in the country.
