FTP Server Name:
This is provided by your web host. It is the server name used to send files to your domain. It is often, but not necessarily, a URL similar to your board’s domain. It may or may not be prefixed with ftp.
FTP Username:
This is either provided to you by your web host or you set it up in the web host control panel. You may want to create a special FTP username and password for this work with FTP permissions limited to your board’s directory.

This is the password associated with the FTP username.

Current Web Host Control Panel information

If you have a URL directly to cPanel, Plesk, WHM or WebMin please provide this. There are certain things I often need to do that can’t be done (or easily done) otherwise, such as accessing the database, upgrading PHP or changing a PHP setting. If you don’t have that but do have credentials to login to your web host, provide that. Some web hosts require two-factor authentication so I may have to work with you to login. If you can disable two-factor authentication so I can do my work, it will speed things up.

New Board Information
Provide information here ONLY IF you are asking me to move your board to another host and/or domain. At a minimum I need web host control panel information for the new host. If nothing else is set up I can create FTP privileges and the database through the web host control panel. If you already have FTP information and/or a board username and password, you can enter it here. Simply provide the same kind of information for the new host in this field as you provided above. If you need me to change your DNS settings, please provide credentials for your registrar.
